Malta: Aidan wins Best Song in Malta 2022 with Ritmu

Maltese singer-songwriter Aidan Cassar, known better as Aidan, has won the 89.7 Bay's Best Song in Malta 2022 award with the Maltese national final selection's runner-up entry, Ritmu.

Aidan will return to the Malta Eurovision 2023 with Reġina (Queen) while on the 1st January 2023 will be releasing his latest track R.I.P. in duet with Maltese pop-queen and two-time Eurovision entrant, Ira Losco.

Aidan travelled to Spain, Sweden and the UK promoting his Malta Eurovision 2022 entry Ritmu. He announced the jury results for Malta at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 and has recently signed a record deal with CAT Music.

In 2021, Aidan's music career sky-rocketed following his participation in the Maltese song festival Mużika Mużika with his hit-track Naħseb Fik where he showcased his confidence as a stage performer. This success motivated him to start submitting songs in the Maltese language for the Eurovision Song Contest.
