Serbia: National Selection begins

After coming 5th in the Grand Final in Turin last year, Serbia will select their entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 on March 4 in the final of Pesma za Evroviziju 23.



The Head of Entertainment at RTS, Olivera Kovačević confirmed the dates of the Serbian selection for Eurovision 2023. The programme, Pesma za Evroviziju 23 will be across three shows:

  • Semi-Final One – March 1

  • Semi-Final Two – March 2

  • Grand Final – March 4

Speaking on RTS Šarenica, the national broadcasters daily news programme, Kovačević confirmed that 200 songs were submitted for selection for Liverpool and the finalists had now been chosen.


At the 2022 contest, Serbia was represented by Konstrakta with “In Corpore Sano”. Serbia finished 5th in the Grand Final scoring a total of 312 points, giving the country its best result at the competition since 2012.
