Spain: Benidorm Fest 23 hopefuls released

After coming third in last years' Eurovision Song Contest, Spain are hoping that one of these eighteen songs will become your favourite in the contest next year.



This evening, Spanish broadcaster RTVE released the full audio versions of their entries taking part in Benidorm Fest 2023. The songs chosen are:

  • Agoney – “Quiero arder”

  • E’Femme – “Uff!”

  • Fusa Nocta – “Mi familia”

  • Blanca Paloma – “Eaea”

  • Aritz Arén – “Flamenco”

  • Rakky – “Tracción”

  • Alfred García – “Desde que tú estás”

  • Sofía Martín – “Tuki”

  • Alice Wonder – “Yo quisiera”

  • Famous – “La Lola”

  • Megara – “Arcadia”

  • Vicco – “Nochentera”

  • Twin Melody – “Sayonara”

  • José Otero – “Invierno en Marte”

  • Karmento – “Quiero y duelo”

  • Sharonne – “Aire”

  • Meler – “No nos moverán”

  • Siderland – “Que esclati tot”

About Benidorm Fest 2023


Benidorm Fest 2023 will be presented by Monica Naranjó, Inés Hernand and Rodrigo Vázquez taking place in Palau Municipal d’Esports l’Illa de Benidorm.


All 18 entries announced above will take part in the semi-finals on Tuesday, 31st January and Thursday, 2nd February. A process of elimination will then reduce the number of competitors to eight and they will take part in the Grand Final on Saturday, 4th February.


RTVE have chosen six reserve entries, in case one of more of the entries is withdrawn for any reason. The voting system remains the same as last year. The results will be decided by a professional jury (50%), a demoscopic jury (25%) and public voting (25%) for all three live shows.


A professional jury will also be present and give critical feedback to the artists during each show and they will comprise of Spanish and International music industry professionals.

Eurovision History: SPAIN

Spain first appeared in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1961 in Cannes and came back to every Contest since, becoming the country to participate the most number of times in a row since their debut without skipping an edition. They have won the contest twice with their entries La, La, La (Massiel, 1968) and Vivo Cantando (Salomé, 1969).
