Who viewed Eurovision the most?

Our friends down under at Aussievision have crunched the numbers and collated the results to see which nation searched Eurovision the most in 2022.


Another phenomenal year of Eurovision took place in 2022 as the contest restarts since the worldwide pandemic and it is clear that the appetite for the World's most watched live music extravaganza is as big as ever.


Aussievision have spent the time reviewing all the data from Google and collated the information to see which country searched Eurovision the most and there is a new nation in the top spot.

  3. Lithuania [3]

  4. Serbia [8]

  5. Spain [17]

  6. Armenia [29]

As you can see, according to the report Iceland overtook Malta in 2022 for the number of searches related to the contest. It is also worth noting that Spain, who came third in the competition in 2022, rose from 17th place to 5th place, clearly the popularity of Chanel's SloMo drew the attention of Spanish fans. The United Kingdom also rose from 33rd place to 25th place in viewing figures online which saw greater interest in the contest as a result of Sam Ryder's incredible performance with his entry Space Man.
